Despite looking fab in photo ops, it seems like maybe it wasn't such a happy New Year for Lindsay Lohan & Samantha Ronson, who reportedly ended up trashing a hotel room, engaging in fisticuffs and shouting at each other in a dirty alley (while a bum munched a sandwich nearby).

According to a report by the New York Post's Page Six column, the crappy New Year got started with an argument while the duo was partying with family at Set in Miami. Round two "went nuclear" with another screaming match at Mansion, which spilled out into an alley behind the club, where the aforementioned hobo
witnessed Lindsay explaining/shouting at Samantha how this whole pitching-a-fit thing works: "When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!" Further discussions erupted later at their hotel room where several sources heard crashing and screaming. The fight reportedly spilled into the hallway at about 11 a.m. where a spy said, "They were punching each other—it was bad. And they were doing this in front of all of us. It was scary."

Page Six reports that at one point, Lohan dropped to her knees and cried, "Why are you doing this to me?" And Sam just said, "I don't know you." Reportedly still feisty hours later, Lohan and Ronson boarded a flight back to L.A. together, but "Lohan was said to be such a mess before takeoff that flight attendants asked her if she'd like to disembark. She refused." Lohan's rep reportedly told the paper that, "There was an argument—I don't know the details—but they left for LA together and it's fine." Yeah, sounds fine to us. How 'bout you? Lindsay Lohan is on the lookout for a property in Dubai to shift in with her DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
The pair fell in love with the Palm Island resort in Dubai after Ronson performed at the newly opened luxurious Atlantis Hotel in 2008, according to British tabloid the Daily Mirror. A source said: "Lindsay and Sam loved the tacky glitziness of Dubai. There is so much money and opulence out there it really impressed Lindsay - she can be quite materialistic like that."

"Despite her fair skin, Lindsay loves the beach and sunshine. And with the property market over there probably the only place where there still seems to be a boom, she thinks it will be a wise investment." According to the contactmusic.com, Lohan is eager to capitalise on the lack of paparazzi in Dubai by purchasing a lavish $2.18 million worth property.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha have another public fight; this time in an airport.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have gotten into another huge public spat, reported the Los Angeles Times. This fight took place in the American Airlines Admirals Club on a flight from Miami to L.A. According to TMZ, once she was in the plane, Lindsay completely fell apart. “Lindsay was so inconsolable the flight attendants asked if she’d like to disembark,” one witness reported.

This is the second massive battle between Lohan and Ronson. Right before Christmas, the couple woke their neighbors at 4 a.m. by screaming at each other and breaking glass. Later that day, Ronson went to the hospital for “exhaustion.” The couple seemed to have made up since then, being spotted shopping and laughing together. On New Year’s Eve, the couple seemed happy and content. Lindsay was seen relaxing on the beach with some friends, minus Samantha. Later that night, however, they both rung in the new year at the South Beach club, Mansion, where Ronson deejayed and Lohan hosted.

Michael Lohan has called a "truce" with daughter Lindsay. The 48-year-old parent has vowed to stop criticising Lindsay, 22, and her girlfriend Samantha Ronson after previously threatening to release "emails,
texts, depositions and audio tapes" which would show Samantha was only with Lindsay for her money.

However, Michael has now revealed he regrets his past behaviour, and feels the new year is the perfect time to mend his relationship with Lindsay. He said: "There is a truce between Lindsay and I, so please stop adding any fuel to the fire. I respectfully ask that all sources, so called friends and mouthpieces refrain from any more comments or suggestions on her blog." The blog post on Michael's new official site MikeLohanOnline.com is the latest development in Lindsay's notoriously difficult relationship with her father.Earlier this week, Samantha responded to Michael's claims that she had written a post on Lindsay's MySpace page accusing him of fathering an illegitimate child.

After Michael saying he was "99 per cent" sure Samantha had penned the blog - in which 'Lindsay' blasted Michael for keeping the third child a secret - Samantha responded: "Ha! That's funny, but I don't ghost-write MySpace blogs. Good thing he left that one per cent window open so he wasn't 100 per cent wrong for once."

THE bad blood between Michael Lohan and Samantha Ronson just gets worse. The other day, Lindsay Lohan's dad angrily denied his daughter's claim on her MySpace blog that he confessed to her he did in deed father a love child, Ashley Kaufman, following an affair with Kristi Kaufman. "My father just let my family and (me) know, amongst other (things) that he had another child after my little sister Aliana," Lohan writes. "Or maybe he had it before Aliana?? Either way, he cheated on my mother and that really sucks."

There is a cheesy line in the (guilty pleasure) movie, The Wedding Date, in which one half-sister says to the other, "You're my half-sister, but I whole love you." So will Lindsay whole or half-love her "new" sister? On her MySpace blog, Lindsay wrote that she just found out she has a half-sister.

According to In Touch, this half-sister may be Ashley Kaufmann, of Montana. Reportedly, Papa Lohan denies fathering the child, but according to Lohan's MySpace, it's pretty clear in her mind that she has another younger sister who she never knew before now. Lindsay Lohan has a number of younger siblings, and reportedly, her half-sister may be about the same age as younger sister Aliana Papa Lohan, aka Michael Lohan, has reportedly denied that he fathered a child out of wedlock, and may be blaming Lindsay's girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, for writing the diary/blog entry.
